Just six minutes from Fort Knox and 15 minutes from Elizabethtown, this dog-friendly home sits on two beautiful acres in a convenient location with easy access to major roads.

Relax on the front porch swing overlooking the spacious front yard and mature shade trees. The large, fenced backyard provides plenty of room for children and approved dogs to play, practice sports, or simply enjoy the outdoors.

Restful Retreat offers four private bedrooms with a total of five beds, three updated bathrooms, and two comfortable living areas—one on the main floor and another downstairs. The home also includes a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and two laundry areas for added convenience.

The kitchen is furnished with a microwave, toaster, Keurig, 12-cup coffee maker, stove with a full-size oven, refrigerator, and ice maker. One of the three updated bathrooms features a charming clawfoot soaking tub.

The large, fenced backyard makes this home especially well suited for families traveling with children or dogs. Dogs must be approved in advance, so please ask for our dog rules before booking.

Guests have access to the main floor and downstairs living areas, including all four bedrooms, three bathrooms, both living rooms, the kitchen, dining area, and both laundry areas. The garage and shed are used for storage and are not available to guests.

Restful Retreat offers convenient self check-in, so it is possible we may not meet during your stay. However, we live approximately 10 minutes away and are available by phone or text if you need assistance or experience any issues.

The home is set back from the main road at the end of a long driveway. Sidewalks run along both sides of the main road for guests who enjoy walking or running.

To get to Fort Knox, turn left out of the driveway and continue on Logsdon until the road ends, then turn Right and it will take you directly to the Chaffee Gate (visitor's center gate of Ft Knox).

The fastest way to get to Elizabethtown is to turn RIGHT from the driveway and continue on this road until it comes to a T-intersection that will force you to turn left or right. Turn LEFT (Hwy 313), then turn RIGHT at the first light which will put you on Patriot Parkway. From here, the second light will be in Elizabethtown at the intersection of Patriot Parkway and Ring Road. Turn RIGHT at this light to go to the Elizabethtown Sports Complex. Turn LEFT to go toward dining and shopping in Elizabethtown.

This house "can" sleep 8 if one person is on the couch and another person is on a twin roll-away bed. If you need the roll-away twin bed, please let us know prior to your day of arrival and we will ensure it is in the house with adequate bedding.

MAIL SERVICE: Due to residency laws and restrictions, please do not use airbnb property address for personal information, government paperwork, mail, deliveries, or packages of any kind. Any mail received at rental property address will be returned to sender. There is a post office less than one mile away, and a UPS store in Elizabethtown. Guests may set up mail deliveries to either of those places or any other off-site location of guest's choice.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
